Peninsula Bay

Create a world-class themed water park and resort attraction designed for all age groups and levels of engagement, positioned across a three-level stepped podium structure. The challenge was to deliver an immersive water park design with distinctive day and night experiences, visually appealing from the adjacent 2,000-room hotel, while integrating supporting indoor wet and dry attractions below with 24/7 connectivity.

Pico Play developed the concept and schematic design for an international-standard themed water park, creating an attraction mix tailored to the structural loading requirements of each area. A key design feature was the strategic integration of a full-size wave pool above the functioning casino, combining creative attraction design, technical planning and immersive guest experience.

The resulting water park design combines thematic storytelling with distinct attraction zones for young children, families and thrill seekers, creating an engaging resort entertainment experience exclusively for hotel guests. Visible from the oceanfront promenade, the water park also incorporates a hologram light show within its largest slide, enhancing the attraction's day-to-night visual experience.
