Celebrating our ongoing partnership with Rickard Engineering at IAAPA Expo Asia 2025

It was a pleasure to meet the Pico Play team during IAAPA Expo Asia 2025 in Shanghai earlier this month. Representing Rickard Engineering, our Director Szymon Maciej Fujak had a chance to connect with the Pico Play team and Susan Anehagen, Pico Play’s Business Development Manager. It was an opportunity to have a conversation regarding the past projects done together and the partnership between our teams.

Our Shared Journey

Pico Play’s booth was a standout — beautifully prepared and reflecting Pico Play’s expertise in the Attraction Design: from the Conceptual Planning, through the Design and Building Process, up to Operations. It was the perfect place for meetings and conversations, and some discussions regarding the Structural Engineering part of the process, where Rickard supports Pico Play the most.

While visiting the booth, Szymon and Susan took the opportunity to reflect on the journey our teams have shared so far. From successful collaborations on the Mandai Park theming (among other Singapore projects) up to currently running projects moving from the Design to Construction Stage right now. Throughout this journey, our partnership has been built on creativity, trust, and... engineering precision.

The projects presented above are some of the standout projects Rickard Engineering and Pico Play’s teams collaborated on, including Penguin Cove and Bird Paradise Waterfall at Singapore Zoo. These projects continue to be great examples of what is possible when creative design (Pico Play) and engineering expertise (Rickard Engineering) come together!
